Than type in the adress of the browser page that you are familiar with (for example: www.yahoo.com) in the field marked "adress". Next step is the most important in the whole process. In the search field, you have to type in the name of the software that you are looking for, avoid misspeling the words. Sometimes the problem is that you do not know the programms name. In that case you have to describe your needs in the same search field; furthermore, try to use as less words that you can. Also, you have to be very precise. When you entered the programs name or your description simply click on "search". Now your browser should provide a list of links where you can find what you are looking for. Under every link there is a short description of the site where it takes you. Sometimes the list is very long and you might find yourself confused with the choice. It is not a rule, but in most of the cases the top results are most accurate; moreover, you should start checking them from the first position. Homosexuality in the Middle East Essay Homosexuality lacks respect in the Middle East. It is considered to be an immense scandal. Nowadays, the idea of gay marriage is completely disregarded. They donââ¬â¢t display it on Arabic television. The media is controlled by the government, and hence they are not allowed to air or publish such ââ¬Ëdishonorsââ¬â¢. Therefore, most Arabs remain unaware and ignorant. There are undoubtedly many homosexuals in the Middle East who hope to get married. However, the chief problem is that itââ¬â¢s against the law. The Middle Eastern governments have placed rules and regulations against homosexuals. If they were to alter their rules, the Arab community may begin to accept the gay community. Furthermore, another chief problem is that the government is heavily influenced by religion. All prevalent religions do not approve of gay marriage. Hence, if marriage were to become civil, gay marriage might be permitted in the future. But in order for all these actions to take place, the Arab community must unite and try to make a change. Gay marriage should become an acknowledged concept in the Middle Eastern society. The Arab governments are one of the principal obstacles that are preventing gay marriage from happening. They decree many rules and regulations that are against homosexuals. One such example of these laws is Article 534 of the Lebanese Penal Code, a result of French colonialism, in consideration of diehard religious groups and sects. Article 534 states that: ââ¬Å"sexual intercourse contrary to nature is punishable for up to 1 year in prisonâ⬠. This article, in essence, deprives a large Lebanese demographic from partaking in ordinary civil life, and restricts their civil liberties. By restricting civil liberties, this so-called ââ¬Å"lawâ⬠prevents the democratic process from occurring smoothly for all citizens, and is an obvious black mark on the face of the supposedly ââ¬Å"freeâ⬠Lebanese democracy. This article also prevents Lebanese homosexuals from being properly integrated into society, and they therefore seek other Western societies, that are more open to homosexuality, and emigrate in search of a better life. Article 534 includes ââ¬Å"the act of Sodomy, or any sexual intercourse between two men, which includes penetrationâ⬠. The article, theoretically and legally, does not concern intercourse that does not include penetration, and does not include sexual acts between two women. The execution of this article has been scarce in modern day Lebanon, and so a conclusion can be made that it is used instead to prevent any debate on sexuality from occurring. One Helem article cites that ââ¬Å"The association of unnatural acts with homosexuality contradicts modern scientific foundations, especially psychological and medical studies and research that removed homosexuality from the list of mental illnesses, something recognized by the World Health Organization on 17 May 1992, a date that was announced as ââ¬Ëthe international day against homophobiaââ¬â¢. â⬠(Helem) (Helem is the first LGBT organization in Lebanon). In Islam, homosexuals (called qaum Lut, the people of Lot) are condemned in the story of Lots people in the Quran (15:73; 26:165) and in the last address of the Prophet Muhammad. However, attraction of men to ââ¬Å"beautiful male youthsâ⬠has been a part of the culture of some Islamic societies and the attraction is not usually looked down upon in itself. When it comes to lesbian homosexuality, some have argued that since penetration is not involved, female homosexual acts should be less severely punished. Islamic law is most concerned with openly gay public behavior, so there is no strong disapproval of homosexuality if it is not displayed in public (Homosexuality, Oxford Concise Dictionary of World Religions. ) ââ¬ËStruggle for Gay Rights in the Middle Eastââ¬â¢ is an article that was written by Hala Gorani for CNN. One of the situations mentioned in the article is how the Egyptian police invaded a homosexual hangout on the river Nile called the Queen Boat. Some of the people who were involved in the hangout were arrested and imprisoned for sin. The article also notes that when governments raid homosexual gatherings, they do it for political instead of ethical reasons. Brian Whitaker, in his paper ââ¬ËUnspeakable Love: Gay and Lesbian Life in the Middle Eastââ¬â¢, argues that homophobia in Arab Muslim countries ââ¬Å"is not a religious or a cultural issue, but is foremost a political problem of which culture and religion are reliant factorsâ⬠, arguing that Homophobia in the Muslim world can be attributed to the attitude this world has to its counterpart, the modern secular European and Western civilization. Whitaker goes on to write that attitudes concerning homosexuality in the Middle East have become increasingly intertwined with politics on an international scale, stating that ââ¬Å"claiming that homosexuality is anti-Islamic, or against the Arab ââ¬Ënature,ââ¬â¢ has become a way to oppose Western policiesâ⬠. The Muslim world views gay rights as a Western import, imposed on them by the changing world in view of globalization, and the stronger ââ¬Å"imperialist forcesâ⬠. But, even if the government were to change its laws concerning the issue of homosexuality, the peopleââ¬â¢s view on the subject might not change at all. Since the conservative citizenââ¬â¢s view on the issue is so deeply rooted in his beliefs already, it wouldnââ¬â¢t matter to him/her if the government changed a few rules and stuck some new wording in the Penal Code. They would still think the same thing, and say the same hateful things. Another major difficulty is the social rejection of gays in the modern Arab society. Most Arab people disregard and disrespect homosexuals. A recent article in BBC news written by John Muir called ââ¬ËIraqi gay men face ââ¬Ëlives in hellââ¬â¢ describes how a young boy was caught wearing womenââ¬â¢s underwear. Men poked the boy with sticks and interrogated him, asking why he was dressed in such a manner. The boy frightfully explained that he was trying to aid his familyââ¬â¢s monetary situation. Another event that was mentioned in Muirââ¬â¢s article was harassment. Homosexual Iraqi men were often harassed and brutally murdered for being what they were. Several dead men were found lying near placards with the terms ââ¬Ëpuppiesââ¬â¢ and ââ¬Ëpervertsââ¬â¢ written on them. Another article called ââ¬ËPeople Think itââ¬â¢s a Mental Illnessââ¬â¢, published in The Guardian, by Brian Whitaker accounts his travels around the Middle East, where he interviewed many homosexuals. One of the people he interviewed told him that his brother actually threatened him at gunpoint when his homosexuality was discovered. Article 534 of the Lebanese Penal Code, mentioned earlier, is used as Blackmail in Lebanon. One BBC article, in an interview with Helemââ¬â¢s co-ordinator George Azzi states that The authorities use this article to blackmail homosexuals by asking for money or using violence or insults, all the while knowing that it will cost them nothing at all to do so. The article also states that many gay men have lost their jobs after being uncovered as gay, and they suffer from verbal and physical abuse and degradation (especially in the case of more effeminate gay men). This hardship also exists within the family, where a majority of gay men have been threatened with murder and are kicked out of their houses. The article goes on to say that if a gay man or woman were to be a doctor or lawyer, he/she would be in a very tough situation, where people would lose f aith in their ability to treat them or give them legal advice. The only for the gay Arab community to escape social judgement is simply by keeping themselves in the closet, and restricting their beliefs only to themselves, in order not to get caught. This repression of attitude would definitely lead to major psychological and social problems for Arab homosexuals, most notably depression and social isolation from oneââ¬â¢s social group, in order not to be judged or criticised for who he/she is. The gay individual may also start to feel denial because of his/her sexual orientation, and would start considering suicide as an easy way out. All these factors would not work well for the gay community, and would therefore lead to its downfall, and then the government would have won. Another important issue that needs to be tackled in the idea of civil marriage in the Middle East; traditionally, marriages are conducted by a Priest or a Sheik, with no regard to inter-religious marriages (sort of like a religion caste system). People of different religious backgrounds who want to get married usually travel to European countries, where civil marriages are conducted routinely, in order to obtain a legal marriage license and elope. Civil marriage has not been recognized in many, if not all, Arab countries, and multi-sectarian Arab governments steadfastly oppose the idea of legalizing civil marriage, where the idea of civil marriage takes ââ¬Å"Godâ⬠out of the sacred bond between man and woman. Since civil marriage is illegal in these countries, so is marriage between homosexual members of society, as they cannot get married in a church of mosque (even though some priests who are open to the idea may officiate gay marriages inside their respective churches, but the marriage would still go unnoticed by the government). Both the former Lebanese Minister of Interior Affairs and the current Maronite Patriarch (surprisingly enough) have voiced their opinions on being with the idea of civil marriage in Lebanon, but no action to pass a law concerning this issue has taken place as of yet. If civil marriages are legalized in these countries, then same-sex partners have the right, and the choice, to get married if they wanted to. In one Guardian article, entitled ââ¬ËWhatââ¬â¢s wrong with being gay and Muslim? , Brian Whitaker talks about how many Arab same-sex couples, or same-sex couples of Muslim descent in Britain are looking to civil marriage there in order to have a legal binding marriage contract. Whitaker gives one such example, writing that ââ¬Å"two lesbians arrived at their local register office to tie the knot, both were Muslims and both were wearing hijabsâ⬠; saying that that was the first Muslim gay marriage to take place in England. The question still remains, if civil marriage we re to become legal at some point in the future, would Arab same-sex couples still want to tie the knot locally? They would remain afraid and weary of the repercussions that might result as a product of their marriage, and of the backlash of the conservative religious communities in these countries, and would probably not consider local Arab civil marriage a good solution, and would travel abroad anyway. In closing, the issue of homosexuality in the Middle East is still a taboo topic, regardless of the winds of change that might be sweeping part of the region. The point is they have still not had their effect on the region as a whole. The question of homophobia in these areas should be answered, is it one of culture and rejecting diversity, or is it a question of rejecting foreign politics and holding a united front against the western world? In any case, homophobia should not even still be a phenomenon of our 21st century civilization, whether locally or abroad. It is mainly a discussion on racism in general, and racism as a whole should have been abolished a long while ago. One day, the Middle Eastern governments will alter their challenging policies and people will begin to understand how ordinary gay marriage is. People should not feel troubled to be exposed and generate awareness to others around them. The face of the Middle East should case to be the face of extremism and terrorism, and should start being the face of a shining beacon of revolution and change, and especially of tolerance and unity. Marriage is first and foremost based on love, so why deny same-sex couples their right to love?

Winning One for Ourselves à à à à à Just like the several years before, soccer season started on an early July day during what seemed to be the hottest time of the day. Only something was different this year, the moral was a little low, and everyone noticed it. The previous season, the supposed golden team that the coach had put so much faith into, had failed; losing in the first round of sectional play. The low moral was most evident in the coaching staff, especially in the head coach. à à à à à Head coach Larry Sahm was particularly distraught. He has never coached a High School team that went on to win sectionals and he truly believed that the last season would be his year. As the practices went on, it became more and more obvious that he really didnââ¬â¢t expect much from his team this year. à à à à à The practices dragged on through the dead heat of the summer. The team worked hard, eventhough we were well aware that not even their own coach had faith in them. This lack of faith sucked every bit of fun out of that practices that always seemed to be there in the years before. The players were losing confidence in themselves and each other. The tension within the team was thick. Everyone was becoming frustrated and no one wanted to be there. à à à à à Then to add to the dismay of the team, Coach Sahm called a small meeting with all the seniors shortly before the first game. ââ¬Å"Everyone knows that you guys are nowhere near as good as the team we had last year,â⬠said Sahm, ââ¬Å"but you all can do me a favor and help prepare the younger kids for next year.â⬠This made the situation much worse. Not only did our coach have no faith in us, but he also thought that we were only good for giving his younger players experience so he can have a successful season next year. à à à à à With the attitude we had, I was not surpised that we had a very dismal regular season. To say we had a losing season doesnââ¬â¢t even do it justice. We were simply horrible. Everything we tried to do went wrong, and the worst part was that nobody cared. No one expected much out of us, so when they didnââ¬â¢t get anything they werenââ¬â¢t surprised. à à à à à We just werenââ¬â¢t the team we were last year. African Americans have fought a great battle to become a part of society in America. Since being taken from African as slaves in the 1600ââ¬â¢s there has been a continuous battle for equality since. Since the end of slavery Black Americans have had many accomplishments along with hardships. In this paper I will discuss some of the Major events in African American history beginning with the end of slavery which has lead to the America we know today. In 1865 Congress passed the thirteenth Amendment statingâ⬠Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdictionâ⬠this was the outlawing of slavery and resulted in the established the Freedmenââ¬â¢s Bureau to assist former slaves. President Lincoln and other Republicans were concerned that the Emancipation Proclamation, which in 1863 declared the freedom of slaves in ten Confederate states then in rebellion, would be seen as a temporary war measure, since it was based solely on Lincolnââ¬â¢s war powers. The Proclamation did not free any slaves in the border states nor did it abolish slavery.[1] Because of this, Lincoln and other supporters believed that an amendment to the Constitution was needed. In many parts of the South, the newly freed slaves labored under conditions similar to those existing before the war. The Union army could offer only limited protection to the ex-slaves, and Lincolnââ¬â¢s successor, Andrew Johnson of Tennessee, clearly had no interest in ensuring the freedom of southern blacks. The new presidentââ¬â¢s appointments as governors of southern states formed conservative, proslavery governments. The new state legislatures passed laws designed to keep blacks in poverty and in posit ions of servitude. Under these so-called black codes, ex-slaves who had no steady employment could be arrested and ordered to pay stiff fines. Prisoners who could not pay the sum were hired out as virtual slaves. In some areas, black children could be forced to serve as apprentices in local industries. Blacks were also prevented from buying land and were denied fair wages for their work. This became the beginning of the Reconstruction. The Freedmenââ¬â¢s Bureau was designed to help former slaves make the transition from slavery to freedom after the civil war. It was a federal agency mostly involving blacks of the old confederacy ( Lowe, 1993). The Freedmenââ¬â¢s Bureau Bill, which created the Freedmenââ¬â¢s Bureau in March 1865, was initiated by President Abraham Lincoln and was intended to last for one year after the end of the Civil War.[2] The Freedmenââ¬â¢s Bureau was an important agency of the early Reconstruction, assisting freedmen (freed ex-slaves) in the South. The Bureau was part of the United States Department of War. Headed by Union Army General Oliver O. Howard, a Civil War hero sympathetic to black s.the Bureau was operational from 1865 to 1872. It was disbanded under President Ulysses S. Grant. Their responsibilities included introducing a system of free labor, overseeing some 3,000 schools for freedpersons, settling disputes and enforcing contracts between the usually white landowners and their black labor force, and securing justice for blacks in state courts. The Bureau was renewed by a Congressional bill in 1866 but was vetoed by President Andrew Johnson, who thought it was unconstitutional. Johnson was opposed to having the federal government secure black rights. Congress passed the bill over his veto. Also known as the New Negro Movement was a literary, artistic, cultural, intellectual movement that began in Harlem, New York after World War I and ended around 1935 during the Great Depression. The movement raised significant issues affecting the lives of African Americans through various forms of literature, art, music, drama, painting, sculpture, movies, and protests. In 1939 the NAACP established as an independent legal arm for the civil rights movement the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, which litigated to the Supreme Court Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, the case that resulted in the high courtââ¬â¢s landmark 1954 school-desegregation decision. The organization had also won a significant victory in 1946, with Morgan v. Virginia, which successfully barred segregation in interstate travel, setting the stage for the Freedom Rides of 1961. 1954 Brown v. Board of Education case: strikes down segregation as unconstitutional. Linda Brown, an eight-year-old African American girl, had been denied permission to attend an elementary school only five blocks from her home in Topeka, Kansas. School officials refused to register her at the nearby school, assigning her instead to a school for nonwhite students some 21 blocks from her home. Separate elementary schools for whites and nonwhites were maintained by the Board of Education in Topeka. Linda Brownââ¬â¢s parents filed a lawsuit to force the schools to admit her to the nearby, but segregated, school for white students. The Board of Educationââ¬â¢s defense was that, because segregation in Topeka and elsewhere pervaded many other aspects of life, segregated schools simply prepared black children for the segregation they would face during adulthood. The board also argued that segregated schools were not neccessarily harmful to black children; great African Americans such as Frederick Douglass, Booker T. Washington, and George Washington Carver had overcome more than just segregated schools to achieve what they achieved. The request for an injunction put the court in a difficult decision. On the one hand, the judges agreed with the expert witnesses; in their decision, they wrote: Segregation of white and colored children in public schools has a detrimental effect upon the colored childrenâ⬠¦ A sense of inferiority affects the motivation of a child to learn. [8] On the other hand, the precedent of Plessy v. Ferguson allowed separate but equal school systems for blacks and whites, and no Supreme Court ruling had overturned Plessy yet. Because of the precedent of Plessy, the court felt ââ¬Å"compelledâ⬠to rule in favor of the Board of Education. [9] The Supreme Court struck down the ââ¬Å"separate but equalâ⬠doctrine of Plessy for public education, ruled in favor of the plaintiffs, and required the desegregation of schools across America. The Supreme Courtââ¬â¢s Brown v. Board of Education decision did not abolish segregation in other public areas, such as restaurants and restrooms, nor did it require desegregation of public schools by a specific time. It did, however, declare the permissive or mandatory segregation that existed in 21 states unconstitutional. [13] It was a giant step towards complete desegregation of public schools. Even partial desegregation of these schools, however, was still very far away, as would soon become apparent. The next year 1955 A young black boy, Emmett Till, is brutally murdered for allegedly whistling at a white woman in Mississippi. Two white men charged with the crime are acquitted by an all-white jury. They later boast about committing the murder. The public outrage generated by the case helps spur the civil rights movement (Aug.). Fourteen-year-old Emmett Till was visiting relatives in Money, Mississippi on August 24, 1955 when he reportedly flirted with a white cashier at a grocery store. Four days later, two white men kidnapped till, beat him, and shot him in the head. The men were tried for murder, but an all-white, male jury acquitted them. Tillââ¬â¢s murder and open casket funeral galvanized the emerging civil rights movement. Rosa Parks refuses to give up her seat at the front of the ââ¬Å"colored sectionâ⬠of a bus to a white passenger (Dec.1). She was arrested and convicted of violating the laws of segregation, known as ââ¬Å"Jim Crow laws.â⬠Mrs. Parks appealed her conviction and thus formally challenged the legality of segregation. In response to her arrest Montgomeryââ¬â¢s black community launch a successful year-long bus boycott. Montgomeryââ¬â¢s buses are desegregated on Dec. 21, 1956. 1963Martin Luther King is arrested and jailed during anti-segregation protests in Birmingham, Ala. My Ideal Humanities class. Ideal Humanities ClassThe Humanities course is where both History and English combined is taught. Some teacher's have a certain way of teaching, while students have several different ways of learning. What a teacher teaches is usually necessary for situations later in life. Whether or not that child learned what was needed in the future can affect that child's decision when that situation is encountered. What and/or how a child learns can be influenced by the environment and the methods in which a child is taught. In this paper I will compromise these different methods.No classroom can be complete without a suggestion box. Contributing ideas is what makes someone feel as if they have some degree of control. Everyone should write their best method of learning things and place them in the suggestion box. Some methods are similar and can be combined. Groups will be combined by similar methods, and then one person from each group will sit at a table and make a new group.Each group will b e a mixture of students with different learning methods. Every method should be touched upon in different lesson. The person who's best at whatever method is being used can help the rest of the group understand from his or her point of view.Every student needs to get away from basing what they learn on one method, because that one method of teaching may not be used. Every method of learning should be learned. Creativity can be used in just about every method. So why not use creativity to teach different methods of learning. Airport Security Carry-On Regulations The United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has established a set of rules for airline passengers at security checkpoints in airports about what they can and cannot bring with them as they fly. New security check-in policies are periodically updated, including the items allowed and prohibited aboard aircraft. This general summary of information is not intended to substitute for FAA, TSA, or PHMSA regulations. For updates and for more information, visit the Transportation Security Administration, call the Consumer Response Center toll-free at 1-866-289-9673 or email TSA-ContactCenterdhs.gov. General Rules The TSA has rules for eight categories of items you can bring with you as you fly, whether in the passenger cabin with you as carry-on luggage or in the cargo hold as checked bags. This list includes the rules that apply in every situation, as well as banned specific items as of February 4, 2018. The number of carry-on items you can bring is established by the individual airline: most say you can bring one carry on, and one personal item. Pack your carry on in neat layers and place your liquids bag on the top. Hazardous materials (HAZMAT) are not allowed on planes at all. Prohibited items include cooking fuels, explosives, and according to FAA regulations, some high-alcohol content beverages. The 3-1-1 Rule Liquids, gels, creams, pastes, and aerosols are only allowed as carry-on items according to the 3-1-1 Rule. No container may be larger than 3.4 ounces (100 ml). The travel containers must all fit in a single one-quart-sized bag and kept in your carry-on, to facilitate the screening process. Exceptions to the 3-1-1 rule include medically-necessary liquids, medicines, and creams: you can bring larger quantities, and you dont need to put your medications in a plastic bag. However, any liquid, aerosol, gel, cream or paste that sets off alarms during screening will require additional screening. Flammables Flammables are anything that can be easily set on fire. As you might imagine, many of those are banned completely from airplanes, but there are exceptions. Acceptable Flammable Carry-Ons: cigarettes and cigars and safety matches, disposable and Zippo lighters, phone chargers, power banks, dry batteries, solid (but not gel) candles.Checked Luggage Only: rainbow flame crystals, gel candles, and self-defense sprays.Completely Banned: Any flammable liquid fuel, such as cooking fuel, butane, chlorine for pools, bang snaps, blasting caps, and firecrackers. Rules for lithium batteries have significantly changed recently. Batteries with 100-watt hours or less may be carried in a device in either carry-on or checked bags. Loose lithium batteries are prohibited in checked bags. Lithium batteries with more than 100-watt-hours may be allowed in carry-on bags with airline approval, but are limited to two spare batteries per passenger. Loose lithium batteries are prohibited in checked bags. Firearms In general, the TSA does not allow firearms or indeed anything that looks like or could be used as a weapon to be carried on. Firearms including ammunition, BB guns, compressed air guns, firearms, flare guns, and gun parts, may be carried in checked baggage if you meet the guidelines for transporting firearms. Essentially, the firearms must be unloaded and placed in a locked hard-sided container, which must completely secure the firearm. When you check your bag, be sure to tell the airline agent that you are checking firearms. Acceptable Fire Arm Carry-ons: Holsters, rifle scopes, empty shell casingsChecked Luggage Only: Ammunition, BB and compressed air guns, firearms, flare guns, gun parts, pellet guns, realistic replicas, rifles, shell casings, starter pistolsCompletely Banned: flares, gun lighters, gunpowder. Food Liquid foods must meet the liquid standards to be carried on board, but in most cases, they can be brought in checked baggage. Meat, seafood, vegetable and other non-liquid food items are permitted in both carry-on and checked bags. If the food is packed with ice or ice packs in a cooler or another container, ice or ice packs must be completely frozen when brought through screening. You can pack frozen perishables in your carry-on or checked bags in dry ice. The FAA limits you to five pounds of dry ice that is properly packaged (the package is vented) and marked. Frozen liquid items are allowed through the checkpoint as long as they are frozen solid when presented for screening. If frozen liquid items are partially melted, slushy, or have any liquid at the bottom of the container, they must meet 3-1-1 liquids requirements. Water, formula, breast milk and baby food for babies are allowed in reasonable quantities in carry-on bags; see the special instructions for travel with children. Acceptable Food Carry-ons: solid foods such as bread, candy, cereal, coffee beans; fresh fruit, meat, and vegetables; eggs, frozen foods if solid-frozen, baby formulas, and foodChecked Luggage Only: Liquids and creamy foods like honey, gravy, peanut butter, and creamy dips if they dont meet the 3-1-1 rulesCompletely Banned: alcoholic beverages over 70% alcohol (140 proof). Household and Tools Household items, in general, may be brought aboard unless they have blades or could otherwise be used as a weapon (axes and blenders, cattle prods, crowbars, cooking spray, cast iron skillets). Most of those may be placed in checked baggage. Items such as butane curling irons may be carried on board but not in the cargo hold. Power tools and regular tools larger than 7 inches are prohibited from carry-on. Liquid items (detergents and deodorants, hand sanitizers) must follow the liquid 3.1.1 rules. Most laptops and cell phones can be brought on board or in checked luggage. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is permanently banned from airline travel. Acceptable Household Carry-ons (examples): cell phones, blenders, corded curling irons, coffee makers, detergents, computers, fidget spinners, game consoles, laptops, light bulbs, paintings, remote control cars, radios, sewing machines, staplers, tattoo guns,Checked Luggage Only: axes and hatchets, drills and drill bits, hammers, heating pads, mallets, Magic 8 ball, nail guns, power tools and tools larger than 7 inchesBanned from Checked Luggage: butane curling ironsCompletely Banned: alcoholic beverages over 70% alcohol (140 proof), cooking spray, engine powered equipment with residual fuel, Samsung Galaxy Note 7, spillable batteries, spray starch, turpentine and paint thinner Medical The TSA allows exceptions to the 3-1-1 rule for medically necessary liquids, gels, and aerosols. You can bring in reasonable quantities for your trip, but you must declare them to TSA officers at the checkpoint for inspection. It is recommended, but not required, that your medications be labeled to facilitate the security process: check with state laws about appropriate labeling. Used syringes are allowed when transported in a Sharps disposal unit or another similarly hard-surfaced container. Personal medical oxygen cylinders are permitted if the regulator valve has not been tampered with or removed. Allowed carryons that require additional screening: nebulizers, CPAPs, BiPAPs, APAPs, unused syringes. If you have bone growth stimulator, spinal stimulator, neurostimulator, port, feeding tube, insulin pump, ostomy bag, or other medical device attached to your body, you may require additional screening. Consult with the manufacturer of the device to determine whether it can safely pass through the X-ray, metal detector or advanced imaging technology for screening. See the TSAs Disabilities and Medical Conditions for more information. Acceptable Medical Carry-ons: blood sugar test, canes, casts, contact lens solutions, contacts, crutches, EpiPens, external medical devices (with special, eye drops, inhalers, insulin, insulin pumps and supplies, life vests, liquid vitamins, liquid medications, pills, nitroglycerine pills, pill cutter, prosthetics, supplements, support braces, thermometer, unused syringes, vitamins, walkers, and wheelchairs.Completely banned: Medical marijuana is prohibited in carry-on or checked baggage. Sharp Objects In general, you are prohibited from traveling with sharp objects in your carry-on bags; but all can be packed in your checked bags. Sharp objects in checked luggage should be sheathed or securely wrapped to prevent injury to baggage handlers and inspectors. You may bring a life vest with up to two CO2 cartridges inside, plus two spare cartridges in your carry-on or checked bag. Sharp fishing tackle that may be considered dangerous, such as large fish hooks, should be sheathed, securely wrapped, and packed in your checked bags. Like other high-value objects, you may wish to pack expensive reels or fragile tackle that does not pose a security threat (small flies) in your carry-on bags. Out of respect for the deceased, TSA officers will not open a container, even if requested by the passenger.Musical instruments must undergo screening whether transported as carry-on or in checked bags. Please check with your airline for their policy. Please remove your pet from the carrying case and place the case through the X-ray machine. You should maintain control of your pet with a leash and remember to remove the leash when carrying your pet through the metal detector.
